Come to Israel, Where Wafers Are a Food Group!


This is a picture from a local supermarket in Ramat Beit Shemesh.

An English translation of what's written above is:
AISLE 1
Fruits and Vegetables
Wafers

Yes, that's right folks!  Wafers are important enough to be listed separately as it's own class of food.  And there's only 4 aisles in this whole supermarket.

    With as much time as I spend in supermarkets here things like this shouldn't surprise me anymore but wow that's funny!
    Oddly there really are SO many wafers on the market that its kind of needed. I even have a new wafer review coming up soon:)
