My goal is to move to Israel in June/July 2010.
I am posting my work experience with the hope that someone in Israel may read this post and be able to help me in some way find employment in Eretz Yisrael.
I currently work for the Department of Health and Human Services at Medicare, the largest health insurance in the world. I have strong communication skills, both in terms of writing and in terms of oral communication. I am the lead for numerous health care issues and have had to communicate with the public on a daily basis to explain the nuances of our health care policies, sometimes at large conferences. I have some managerial experience as a Special Assistant for a division that is responsible for over $100 billion worth of payments annually to hospitals and physician offices. In this role, I worked closely with the Division Director, providing direction and assigning work to over 150 employees.
I would be ideal for almost any technical writing or marketing position, especially a position in the medical or biotech industry.
I would also be interested in working for Nefesh B'nefesh. I am in awe at the work that the organization does and how it has revolutionized aliyah in the world. I think my strong communication skills, friendly demeanor, and enthuiasm would be a perfect fit for the organization.
Below is a list of places I have worked and studied at.
